This morning when I woke up I was in a camping ground and later on in the day I will be going to this place called the giant play ground.  I thought that it would have like slides and swings and see saws but there wasn't any of that stuff there was just lots and lots of rocks.

Funny looking rocks like some were on top of each other.  I even climbed one of them.

Then dad phoebe and I found these types of animals that are mostly related to the Elephant and they are called Dassies. They were so cute!  I saw these little baby ones that were so cute and they were so much smaller than the others!!

Hi Meg
Hey is that Pride Rock. They are fantastic rock formations. I can see all sorts of shapes in them.

I have never heard of a Dassie before. I am going to google it to check them out.

Hello Di, Hello Rob, miss you lots. I've seen an elephant I really liked. It was really cute and big and awesome. I was attacked by a cheetah today. It bit my leg off. Nah, it didn't. It was a playful cub and it bit my leg. It was scary and it hurt. Don't worry. I am not dead. I have out a photo of a dassie and the rock formations on the blog. Bye, Meg

Hi Meg,

We miss you! Your adventure sounds incredible. I like the idea of a rock playground. I can just see you scrambling over them. It looks like you're on top of the world in that photo. I'm also curious about the dassie. I can't even imagine what they look like so I'll have to find out. Sending you lots of love. Thank you for sharing your stories and photos. Love Eve & Paul. xxx

Hi Eve and Paul, miss you two. I wish you were here with me. Africa is really fun! The rock playground wasn't really how I expected it to be. I have posted another picture of it and the dassies. From Meggy. BYE

Hi Meg
You look like you are having a great time. I went to Namibia with Troy about 13 years ago! see if you can find a diamond in the sand! not that we ever did!

Hi Meggie - am loving reading and seeing all your adventures in Africa - what an adventure you are all having WOW - unfortunately the skies over here in the UK are nowhere like as blue as where you are - they're a sort of sludgy grey !! Am looking forward to seeing where you go next ....... have fun - lots of love Dinny xxx

Hi Dinny, I really miss you. I wish you were here with me. And especially when I was sandboarding. I got my hair braided today and they put fake hair in my hair and the colours were red and black and blonde. I look awesome. From Meggy
