Today the Du Preez family left Okavango River Lodge, the place we are staying at.  They are a nice family.  They are travelling around in a big truck with a huge photo of them all on the side.

Their names are Grant (Dad), Lauren (Mum), Bryce (12 years), Mitch (10), Aimee (8).  We roasted bread last night on a brai.

A brai is like a barbeque.  It means ‘cooking with fire’.  We have roasted marsh mellows on a brai.

And we went on a boat cruise and we saw baby crocodiles and we went to a village and went on a mokoro.

A mokoro is a kind of canoe.

It was cool !

Hi Sarah. What a wonderful time you are having seeing all those animals. Great that you are meeting other families who are travelling around too. We are loving your stories. Best wishes to you and all the Shepherd family. Di and Rob. Ella says woof!
