In Africa you can see lots of stars.

But you cannot see the sun at night.

And did you know the sun is a star?  And Saturn is a planet and has 62 moons?

The sun is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, VERY HOT!

The end.

Hi Sarah
I bet you are enjoying more sun in Mozambique than we are here in Wellington. Today is different because it is sunny (but chilly). The sun makes people feel so much better. I wonder when it gets dark in Mozambique. The sun is starting to set just a little bit later here but it is dark by 5.30pm. I will be happy when the winter ends.

Claire has just made a carrot drink. She tells me that orange vegetables are good for beating the winter blues.

Guess what? Claire will be coming to teach at Clyde Quay School for 7 weeks. She starts in September and will be with the year 7 & 8 class. Haha I wonder if she will be Stan's teacher.

I have to go and get some jobs done now. See you Sarah.
Love Di
